● **Website Navigation Overhaul** - The site now groups streamer features under a clearer Stream Tools menu, keeps desktop and mobile navigation consistent, and adds better links between related pages. ● **Discord Integration Hub (new)** - Account linking, server setup, Discord alerts, and Twitch subscriber role syncing now live together on one page, with clear connection and setup status. ● **Referral Link Stats (new)** - The Referrals dashboard now shows aggregate visits to your referral link alongside completed streamer signups, so you can tell whether a shared link is getting attention. No visitor identity is stored. ● **Custom Command Alerts Fixed in OBS** - Per-command images and sounds now reach OBS correctly. A command's chosen sound replaces the default alert sound instead of overlapping it, and works without a separate audio browser source. Overlay pages also load updated behavior instead of remaining indefinitely cached. ● **Trivia and Hangman Fixes** - Game-specific trivia follows the current Twitch category, deleted questions stay deleted, Trivia and Hangman exclusion lists no longer overwrite one another, repeating a question no longer resets its answer timer, and a temporary word-bank problem no longer loads thousands of unfiltered words. Trivia and Hangman edit links and trivia-editor removal are fixed as well. ● **Stronger Spam and Scam Protection** - Link Protection now catches disguised domains such as `site [.] com`, `site dot com`, and spaced-dot links. Spam Protection also recognizes deliberately obfuscated Discord, Telegram, and WhatsApp contact pitches while using stronger evidence to avoid learning ordinary conversation as network-wide spam.

I've been slacking on updating whats been added to the bot, I've made a lot of improvements - so here we go! ● **Weekly Stream Report (new)** - Get a weekly summary of your channel posted straight to Discord: how many streams you ran, hours live, unique viewers, chatters, your top chatters, your best stream of the week, and how it all compares to the week before. It's off by default - go to Integrations > Discord > Discord Alerts and enable Weekly Report on the webhook for the channel you want. ● **Multi-Step Commands (new)** - A custom command can now do several things in order instead of just one. Post a message and play a sound from a single command, in whatever order you want. Build the sequence under Stream Tools > Commands & Automation > Commands & Events. ● **Custom Command Alerts** - Custom commands can now display their own pop-up on your Alert Box overlay. Choose a command's image and sound under Commands & Events, and control the Custom Command alert type under Integrations > Overlays. ● **Viewer Queue Overlay (new)** - Put your viewer queue on stream with a new OBS browser source, so people can see where they are in line without having to ask. Grab the URL from Integrations > Overlays. ● **Fixed: the command editor losing your edits** - Several ways the command editor could quietly drop or change field values while you were editing are resolved. ● **Trivia and Hangman polish** - Trivia categories and alternative answers work correctly again, and hangman category hints are clearer. ● **Fixed: Discover page live status** - The Discover page now shows who is actually live. ● **Stream Together fixes** - Shared-chat games route correctly across the combined chat again. ● **Better spam detection** - Improved detection of stream-growth solicitation spam, the "I can promote your channel to thousands of viewers" messages.

● **Shoutout & Ad Warning moved to the Commands page** - Both now live on the Commands page as their own trigger types, right next to Chat Command and Event Response, so everything you set up is in one place. Pick "Shoutout (!so)" to set up your shoutout message, or "Ad Warning" to set your pre-ad heads-up message and timing. ● **Shoutouts are now opt-in** - The shoutout command has a master on/off switch and starts off. To use !so / !shoutout, turn it on under the Shoutout (!so) trigger type on the Commands page. ● **Per-streamer shoutout blurbs** - Add a custom line for specific streamers you shout out often. Set a personal blurb for each channel and it drops into your shoutout message (via the $socustom variable) whenever you !so that streamer. ● **Fixed: buttons that weren't responding** - Cleared up a display bug that left several edit and toggle buttons dead when clicked - including the moderator permission toggles and the edit buttons on the Trivia, Achievements, Rewards, Hangman Words, and Mod Approvals pages. They all work again. ● **Challenge overlay fix** - Removed a black box that could show up next to the Game Challenge overlay in OBS.

● **Discovery Page Upgrades** - Streamer cards on the Discover page now show more personality: a chat vibe badge (Lively, Steady, or Chill, based on how active your chat is), your next scheduled stream time, and a short description you write yourself. Set yours in Settings under "Discovery Description" (up to 200 characters), and viewers can filter the Discover page by vibe to find the kind of community they're looking for. ● **Leaderboard Nav Link** - Your channel's viewer leaderboard is now under Engagement > Community > Leaderboard. ● **Timezone Fix** - Fixed a batch of times that were displaying a few hours off - game overlays, challenge end times, daily challenge and streak resets, and various dashboard timestamps now show the correct time.

● **Shoutout Command (new)** - Mods and the broadcaster can type !so <streamer> (or !shoutout) to hype up another channel. The bot posts a chat message with their Twitch link and the game they were last playing, and a pop-up with their avatar appears on your Alert Box overlay. The pop-up can be toggled (with its own image and sound) in Settings > Overlays. ● **Command Search and Favorites (new)** - Finding a command in a long list is much easier now. The Commands page has a search box that filters as you type, matching command names, aliases, and response text. You can also star your most-used commands: favorites float to the top of the list, and a Favorites filter shows just your starred ones. ● **New Command Variables** - Custom commands got a big batch of new variables: $args and $arg1-$arg3 (whatever the viewer typed after the command), $game (your current category), $viewers (current viewer count), $uptime, $followage (how long the viewer has followed you), $pick(option1|option2) for random response pools, and $count(name) to keep a running tally like death counters. The full list is documented right on the Commands page. ● **Game & Event Message Improvements** - Every channel and game event message now appears on the Commands page pre-filled with its default text, so you can see exactly what the bot will say for each event and tweak it from there. The Hangman Game Won and Trivia Correct Answer messages also support a new {total} variable that shows the viewer's running total of words solved or correct answers, so wins can celebrate milestones.

Feature July 19, 2026

● Join Messages and Sounds

● Join Messages and Sounds - Join Sounds (new)** - Give any viewer their own entrance sound. On the Join Messages page, every active join message now has a sound dropdown that links one of your sound commands to that viewer, and the sound plays through your OBS audio overlay when they arrive in chat. A viewer can have a sound with no message at all, and each row has a Test button so you can hear it on stream before it goes live. - **Viewers Pick Their Own Join Sound (new)** - Flip on the "Viewer Join Sounds" toggle on the Join Messages page and your viewers can choose one of your sound commands as their personal join sound, right from the Join Message widget on their dashboard. You stay in control: it only offers sounds you've already added, and the toggle is off by default. - **Add a Join Message for a Viewer (new)** - You (or your mods) can now set a viewer's join message or sound yourself from the Join Messages page, no viewer request or approval needed. The viewer name field autocompletes from people who've been in your chat, and you can upload a brand-new sound right from the form (it also becomes a regular sound command viewers can trigger).

BIG update, so big it had to be put into a few messages!

BIG update, so big it had to be put into a few messages! ● **Merged Co-Stream Games (new)** - During a Stream Together, the bot now runs ONE shared trivia or hangman game across all of you instead of each channel running its own. One host runs the game and everyone else's bot goes quiet, so the whole combined chat plays together - and the winner is credited on every participating streamer's challenge leaderboard. On by default; set who hosts in Settings > Co-Stream Games, or type !primary in chat during the co-stream to take over. ● **Game Challenges (new)** - Run a trivia or hangman competition on your channel. Pick the game, set how long it runs and an optional prize, and viewers rack up points by getting the most correct answers before the deadline. Live leaderboard with an OBS overlay so the standings show on stream, and viewers can track their rank from their dashboard. Set one up on the Challenges page. ● **Advance Ad Warning (new)** - Give your chat a heads-up before an ad break runs so viewers aren't caught off guard. Turn it on, set how many seconds ahead to warn (30-60s is typical) and a custom message, and the bot posts it automatically based on your upcoming ad schedule.

● **Join Sounds (new)** - Assign a sound that plays automatically when a viewer's join message fires. Set one per viewer from the Join Messages page. ● **Shoutout Command (new)** - Use !so <streamer> (or !shoutout) to shout out another streamer in chat with an overlay pop-up. Mods and broadcaster only. ● **Command Search & Favorites (new)** - Search your commands and star the ones you use most so they stay at the top of the Custom Commands page. ● **Win Totals in Trivia & Hangman (new)** - Event responses now support a {total} variable showing how many times a viewer has answered trivia correctly or solved a hangman word. Drop it into your custom win message, e.g. "{viewer} won! That's {total} solved!" ● **Cleaner Leaderboards** - !top hangman and !top hm now match the other boards (top 10, no empty entries), and !top trivia hides viewers with zero answers. ● **Event Message Previews** - When setting up an event response, the box now shows that event's default message as a hint so you can see what it looks like before customizing. ● Bug Fixes ○ Fixed !top commands (!top trivia, !top hangman, etc.) doing nothing on channels that use the ! prefix. ○ Removed a duplicate hangman win message that posted twice when someone solved the word if both were enabled. ○ Referral and activation bonus earnings now update on their own, so trivia/hangman participation is credited even if you never open your referrals page. ○ Improved stat-tracking reliability so chat and watch-time keep recording after a connection hiccup.

We are back up and running, this should be a high rarity as where I live should have a backup generator running in times like this, it just failed to turn on. Nevertheless, I have a plan to prevent this going forward but I need to build out quite a bit of infrastructure to do it - to be seen down the road

As a reminder there is a lot more to the bot beyond just minigames. We have: - In depth analytics past even what twitch or any other platform provides for insight into your channel (including audio/speech analysis) - Engagement tools like other minigames (Russian Roulette and 8-Ball), join messages, and leaderboards for your viewers - Sound and Text Commands - both timed and event based with variable support - Viewer queue system so you can have viewers queue up to play games with you, managed both from the website and through chat - Quotes system to remember goofy things said in the past (and post them to the chat) - Moderation system - custom filters, cross-channel ban sharing (auto-handles viewers banned in other channels), and similarity-based spam detection - Achievements for viewers to work towards - fully customizable as well - Viewer dashboard so viewers can easily see their own stats, watch your stream, and manage their settings - OBS overlay for games, leaderboards, etc. - Last but definitely not least - the streamer discovery page to find other streamers on the bot, filterable by games, features, and activity!

@here Hi all, this one is big enough to warrant the @. I'm rolling out a referral program and activation bonus program paying out money for use of the bot and to try and help get the name out there. The way that the referral program works is that for every streamer that joins the bot using your link and turns on trivia and hangman, you get paid for each unique instance of a viewer playing one of the games. Amounts do need to build up to $5 minimum for payout via PayPal. Activation bonus for your own stream - you can now earn up to $25 by simply having viewers use trivia and hangman on your channel. This works the same way as the referral program and you are automatically enrolled to start earning as of today. It's worth noting for this first phase of the referral program and activation bonuses I'm allotting a total of $250 to the cause, so once that's gone, no further payouts until I decide to do another phase (if this is worth doing again). To get started and find your referral link visit this page - https://www.zerg3rrbot.com/referrals

Fix May 14, 2026

2026-05-14 Changelog

● Russian Roulette Overhaul - Complete rewrite of the game logic. Players now get individual results announced with suspense ("Click... safe" or "BANG! Timed out for Xs"). Mods are immune - the bullet bounces off. Groups of 8+ get extra bullets. Join confirmations show when you enter, and the game uses your channel's command prefix. ● Command Chaining (new) - Custom commands can now trigger other commands using $run(commandname) in the response. Example: set up !socials with $run(discord) $run(twitter) $run(youtube) and all three fire in sequence with a 1-second gap. Max 10 commands per chain. (Worth noting that deepbot chained commands don't need to be updated and will work as imported) ● Sound Commands Extended - Maximum sound duration bumped from 30 seconds to 60 seconds. ● Guided Tour for All Streamers -The platform tour is now available to every streamer, not just new signups. Gold "Take the Tour" button in the nav if you haven't taken it yet. ● Discover Page Improvements - Faster loading with background caching. All biome types now show on the minimap with proper colors. ● Analytics Performance - The aggregate stats page loads significantly faster. Database queries now run in parallel instead of sequentially. ● Bug Fixes ○ Fixed false "previous name" entries when a viewer only changed capitalization (e.g., "zerg" to "Zerg") ○ Fixed hangman winner submission link leading to a 404 page ○ Fixed the guided tour viewer dashboard redirect link ○ Fixed the analytics page benchmark on the Viewers card comparing the wrong metrics

2026-05-11 Changelog

Big thanks to my brother TreesGoesMoo for this round of fixes and adds ● **7TV Emote Support (new)** — Chat messages on the viewer detail page now render 7TV emotes as images. ● **Ad Break Controls (new)** — The ad break widget on the dashboard now has a "Run Ad" button with a duration dropdown (30s to 3 minutes). Pick a duration and start a commercial directly from the dashboard instead of going to Twitch. ● **Channel Point Redemptions in Activity Feed** — When a viewer redeems a channel point reward, it now appears in the activity feed with the reward name, cost, and any text they typed. Previously channel point events were tracked but never shown in the feed. ● **Bot Join Announcements (new)** — New setting under Bot Settings: when enabled, the bot sends a greeting message when it joins your channel ("ZERG3RRBOT has joined the chat!"). Off by default. ● **Sound Commands with Spaces** — Sound command names can now contain spaces (e.g., "air horn"). Sounds trigger directly by name — just type `!air horn` in chat. Multi-word custom commands work the same way. ● **Bug Fixes** ○ Bot classification search now works for all streamers (was silently failing for non-tracked streamers) ○ Discord Server, Voice Profile, and Bot Classification sections on Settings page now render correctly (Alpine.js template fix that was breaking multiple sections) ○ Bot classification action buttons now display their icons properly ○ 30-second prediction option added to the dashboard prediction widget dropdown ○ Bot status indicator on Settings page now accurately shows moderator status

2026-05-10 Changelog

● **Command Prefix Toggle (new)** — Streamers can now switch their command prefix between `-` and `!` from the Custom Commands page. All built-in and custom commands update instantly. Your viewers use whichever prefix you pick. New streamers default to `!`. ● **What's New Page (new)** — Public changelog at /changelog showing update history with category badges. ● **Ad Break Analytics (new)** — The bot now tracks when Twitch runs ads on your channel and measures how it affects your viewers. See ad count, average duration, viewer drop percentage, and recovery stats on your Aggregate Stats page. ● **Guided Platform Tour (new)** — New streamers now get a guided walkthrough of the platform using step-by-step tooltips. Covers setup, analytics, engagement features, settings, and integrations across five phases. Gold "Take the Tour" button in the nav with a progress bar. Retake or skip anytime from the profile menu. ● **How You Compare Improvements** — Tier pills now show each group's color so the bar colors make sense at a glance. Benchmark callouts on KPI cards are more actionable. Still behind closed doors until we hit a certain number of active streamers using the tool. ● **Bug Fixes**
